The When I Grow Up Podcast explores the stories of those who have found their dream job. Together we share your story to help others looking for purpose in their work.

WHAT WE COVER

This podcast is about you (not your company). Listeners need to hear real stories about the careers that exist in this world and how people have found what they love.

Every podcast episode covers these 3 questions:

  • What did you want to do when you grew up?

  • What do you do now?

  • How did you get there?

Outside of those questions, we follow the flow of conversation. This might include conversations about:

  • Why you love your job

  • Challenges you've faced along the way and how you've dealt with those

  • Advice for people interested in your line of work

  • What it actually means to do what you do

  • We will aim to record for 25-30 minutes so that the final episode can be between 20-25 minutes (though if the conversation feels valuable for listeners, I’m happy to continue chatting!)

  • Please make sure you have a decent camera and a quiet place to record without distractions in the background.

  • I'm currently publishing all podcast episodes on my YouTube page: https://youtube.com/@lookoutpointcoaching

  • I record episodes months in advance. I can give you an accurate estimate for your episode's release date when we meet.

  • It's important to me to honor and respect any boundaries set by my guests and/or their workspaces. Please let me know ahead of time which topics are off limits and I will ensure these are not discussed during the podcast.

  • While I truly hope everyone who joins the podcast is able to share their story with the world, I understand that life changes and if you need to revoke your permission to publish the episode, I will absolutely honor that request.

  • Absolutely! The only requirement is that all guests must love what they do.

  • At the end of each episode, I invite guests to share how listeners can get in contact with them or if they'd like to talk about any upcoming products or events. Your contact information, website, products, and any other relevant info will be included in the show notes.
